By requesting to borrow an item through Rcloset, the borrower agrees that their saved payment method may be charged up to the agreed replacement value of the item in the event of confirmed loss or damage as determined by Rcloset staff. Both parties must agree on the replacement value before a borrow request is confirmed. Claims must be filed by the lender within 24 hours of the confirmed return timestamp. The borrower will be notified of any claim and given 24 hours to respond before Rcloset makes a final decision. Rcloset's decision on all damage and loss claims is final. Borrowing items through Rcloset is always free — the agreed replacement value is held as a security deposit only and will never be charged unless a claim is approved by Rcloset.
